Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day is a American R&B/Soul musician and singer. In addition to an award like a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she is also nominated as an Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong performer who writes well. She is not only an expert in the throwback genre of R&B but her roots are blues and gospel jazz.
